At the risk of starting another comment thread on the Cuban name/theme of the place, Cuban Revolution at American Tobacco has shifted its start date a bit.
New date: July 1, though don't be surprised to see a soft opening a few days before while the Providence, R.I.-based eatery works out the details. Illuminated signage went up on the building exterior yesterday.
Word is the restaurant is planning a rather energetic, loud environment -- a far cry from the subdued sounds of the late, little-lamented Symposium Cafe, though we're not sure how much of the silence was due to customers' depression at the bad food and worse service at the 'Pose.
