Full Frame fans: don't miss your chance to pick up tickets for the country's premiere documentary film festival. Hey, the New York Times may not be able to afford to be here this year -- but at $15 a ticket, you can.
Advance tickets go on sale this Monday and will be available for purchase through April 1. Festival organizers remind that advance tickets disappear quickly; day of show and last-minute tickets are available, too, but if you want a shot at seeing some of this year's top docs, Monday's a good day to pick up those tickets.
Check out the full schedule and make plans to buy tickets online or by phone at the festival's web site.
Keep in mind that they sometimes need extra last minute volunteers, which is a good way to grift your way in after everyone is seated. Sux that the NYT bailed.
Signup for the Full Frame listserv, it is very low traffic and full of great deals. The Katrina-themed year I must have seen 40-odd films, and having moved here from NY the crowd on the Marriott plaza was a sight for sore eyes (lots of black turtlenecks and angst). Derm doesn't get much hipper than this.
