Most weeks on "Shooting the Bull," you get to hear from interesting Durhamites on the issues of the day stepping into the WXDU studios as our guests.
This is not one of those weeks.
Instead, on this week's free-range show, Barry and Kevin talk through pressing issues. What's the likely impact of the proposed change to a non-partisan plurality election for this fall's City Council race? What happened with urban chickens this week? Will you go see Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion when it comes to Durham?
And, most pressing: is Ron Glass or Morgan Freeman a better choice to play our mayor in the Hollywood production of "Main Street," the new movie shooting in Durham this spring? (Not that the script has real pols in it, but hey, it's an interesting thought experiment.)
Thanks as always to the folks at WXDU for the opportunity to host this weekly show.
