We here at BCR unfortunately couldn't get down to City Hall on Monday to hear Bill Bell take on TROSA's Carol-Aoke event, but thanks to the good folks at NBC 17, the performance is saved on teh Internets for all to see:
Yep, that's Mayor Bell up on stage with some local notables (including what looks like Barker French on stage with hizzoner, with Alice ), singing Jingle Bells as part of a promotion by TROSA with some help from downtown ad agency McKinney, according to the Herald-Sun:
The karaoke on wheels will sell hand-made wreaths and allow people in the community to meet its staff and residents.
At Carol-Aoke, TROSA workers and residents will take to the stage and try their best at holiday songs. Each Durham resident willing to sing a song will get a coupon toward a TROSA tree.
Look for more stops on the Carol-Aoke circuit to be announced soon.
They were on the West Campus quad in front of the chapel at lunch today.
