Old Bull Building gets CO, welcomes residents

The Old Bull Building at the north end of the American Tobacco Campus got its certificate of occupancy last Friday, allowing residents to move in at last to the oldest part of the multi-block complex.

A CO was originally expected a month or so ago, but contractor Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse had another 30 days or so of work to complete per city inspectors, leading to delayed move-ins and a bit longer wait to get into what appear to be some beautiful apartments.

An eagle-eyed BCR reader also noted that the SBER trailers serving as a mobile office appear to have disappeared from their perch just across Blackwell St. from the building. Reportedly a couple of the upper floors of the apartments are still finishing construction work but will be occupied soon.

BCR reader (and day job colleague) Jeff is blogging about his experiences living in the building at his smartly named site, This Old Bull.
