From the "You-Know-Redevelopment-Is-Happening-When-The-Roads-Close" Department: West Main St. through the West Village Phase II construction site has reopened as of late last week, after being closed a bit longer than initially expected. Driving through you get some great views of the work underway at the Cobb/O'Brien buildings as well as the Walker facility; the new windows and awnings stand out in several of the structures. (I'll try to grab some photos of this shortly.)
On the flip side, Blackwell St. near American Tobacco will be closed to through traffic all this week due to the installation of everyone's favorite amenity: new sewer lines. Smells like a winner!
