WRAL's posted a nice little multimedia slideshow of last night's Lucky Strike tower lighting at their web site that captures the spirit of the evening. A large crowd turned out for the event, enjoying the Durham Public Schools students' performances of holiday music, the lighting itself, and the "snowflakes" falling from the sky -- heck, with the drought and low precipitation levels forecasted, it might be the closest thing to snow we see for a while.
See you all at the parade today.
Very nice, slideshow... music too! I really missed out. Fortunately, I did get a chance to enjoy the parade and tree lighting today. Happy holidays, all!
